Who is a Candidate for Virtue RF?
Many healthy individuals who are bothered by uneven skin tone or texture can benefit from Virtue RF treatment. However, those with active acne, inflammation, skin lesions, or severe sun damage in the treatment area may not be ideal candidates. Virtue RF is also not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. The Virtue RF Treatment
Virtue RF combines radiofrequency (RF) energy with microneedling to create microscopic injuries in the skin. Simultaneously, RF energy promotes collagen and elastin remodeling, tightening and lifting the skin. These two mechanisms combined result in tighter, more toned skin and a healthy glow.
The RF Virtue treatment is well tolerated with mild to moderate pain during the procedure. We will apply a topical numbing cream before treatment. This technology also provides exact insertion of the micro-needles so there is minimal visible trauma to the skin.
Virtue RF Results & Recovery
There is minimal social downtime following Virtue RF treatment. Your skin will appear slightly red for a few hours, possibly up to a week for more aggressive treatments. For the best results, avoid makeup application for 24 hours, and be sure to use sun protection while outdoors.
Virtue RF can provide visible results within a few days with continuous improvements for 4-6 weeks as collagen and elastin are produced. Results from an initial treatment can last up to 6 months. To maintain results, we recommend follow-up treatments every 4-6 months.
