What is Hydradermabrasion?

Hydradermabrasion is a cosmetic treatment that uses the HydraFacial MD device for gentle exfoliation and intense skin cleansing. The HydraFacial wand gently exfoliates dead skin cells on the skin’s surface and extracts dirt and debris from the pores while simultaneously infusing the skin with hydrating serums. Since water is used instead of crystals (like traditional microdermabrasion), this treatment is also called wet exfoliation.

With the HydraFacial device, your skin will receive a hydrating boost while blood flow and new collagen growth are stimulated. Collagen is a protein naturally found in the skin and it is responsible for the plump, youthful look of your skin. As we age, collagen production and cell turnover slow down, leading to duller skin, fine lines, and wrinkles. By removing dead skin cells, hydradermabrasion treatment encourages a new layer of healthier skin to replace the dull and aging skin on the surface.
